The Edmonds Scholarship provides financial assistance every odd year to a Department of History student preparing to study abroad. The award alternates between the Department of History and the Honors College. Drs. Anthony and Joanne Edmonds devoted more than 60 years to Ball State and the Honors College and championed study abroad experiences for Honors College students.
ELIGIBILITY FO EDMONDS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded on an alternating basis to two different groups of students. In even-numbered years, Honors College students from any major (including history) are eligible to apply, while in odd-numbered years, students majoring in programs of study within the Department of History (including Honors College students) are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted in the spring of the applicable year, and awards may be used for the subsequent summer or academic year. To qualify for this scholarship, students must have a GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) and be preparing to study abroad.
